I've been taking pictures for over 25 years, purchasing my first camera to capture my niece's entry into this beautiful world. From there, I became the family photographer, always taking my camera to family gatherings, parties and weddings, a familiar start for many photographers.

The real interest in photography for me is to capture what my eye sees, to capture that great setting, that moment in time. It could be an expression, an amazing flower, a landscape, animal or bird. There are so many beautiful images to capture and that's what keeps me going. When the lighting is right, I'm off shooting whatever catches my eye. The other aspect of photography that fascinates me is the media itself. When you look at a photograph, it can take you right back to the occasion where you took the shot. It conjures up old memories, evoking sentiments, smells, laughter and the essence of that moment in time. Photography is a great way to preserve memories and it's a wonderful gift to share.
