Jane Utz is a retired Physical Education instructor who taught in Southold and Greenport Schools. After retiring from teaching in 1992, she pursued art with local instructors, Jackie Penny, and Linda Fischetti. During the winter, Jane and her husband Cliff, travel to Arizona where additional art instruction is taken at Scottsdale Artists School from many different instructors. Jane enjoys nature and wildlife and uses her own digital photography for watercolor reference material. Weekends Jane works in Pugliese Vineyard, and has worked part time in the wine industry since 1976 when the Hargraves started the first LI vineyard. She is represented by Winter Harbor Gallery in Greenport, The Old Town Art and Craft Guild in Cutchogue, and was the cover art for the fall Wine Press in 2006 elsewhere on the web: guild site: Old Town Art and Craft Guild
