Carol C. Young
Painter Carol Coppola Young (formerly Carol Ferrante Coppola) resides in Connecticut and enjoys spending free time on Long Island's North Fork. Working most often with oil and acrylic, her collections include scenic landscapes of historic New England and Long Island. Carol has a unique way of capturing light and shadow that infuses her paintings with unmistakable contrast and mood. She is a Plein Air painter as well as a studio artist.

"As an artist, I have always been fascinated by the relationship between light and shadow. I would gaze at moonlit rooftops for hours, intrigued by the patterns and colors cast in the shadows. Sunlit houses are also a favorite subject of mine. I love to explore country roads searching for new and intriguing landscapes that are alive with color and light. My hope is to transport the viewer of my paintings to that same place and time of day."
